So, as discussed in class, there are a few basic elements that should be addressed when it comes to writing good short stories.
We start with a basic Concept or moral to the story. This is not a list of what happens!
This is the central idea that the audience can take-away from watching your story.
The Plot of the story, is the series of events that illustrates your concept.
This is the part of story-writing that maps out how the characters and premise are introduced, how the situation elevates to a pitch and is finally resolved in a climax and ending.
Sometimes writers like to introduce a plot-twist, which helps keep the audience on it’s toes and maintains interest.
